Abu Shahadah accepted Islam at the age of 19 after much exploration and deliberation. With Eman in his heart, Abu Shahahdah and a long time friend, set out to speak the call on their tongues and practice the sunnah of the Prophet salalahu alayhi wa salaam; calling to Allah azza wa jal. They spent countless hours giving dawah in the streets, in the high schools, the universities and now the media has evolved yet again. From handing out $2 tapes to CD's, DVD's and MP3's. His early beginnings include work with Peel Multicultural Board, Youth Services Canada, the Peel Police and the Muslim Inmate Awareness Program. Abu Shahadah is now the Director of Da'wah Affairs for Muslim Youth Media.
