The month of Dhul-Hijjah is a season of worship, and seasons of worship bring along blessings, benefits and opportunities to correct one's faith and make up for shortcoming. Every one of these special opportunities involves some kind of worship, which brings the slave closer to his Lord. And Allâh bestows His blessings and Favours on whom He wills. The fortunate person is he who makes good use of these special months, days, and hours, while worshiping Allâh.

Allâh has blessed His slaves with certain seasons of goodness, in which hasanât (rewards for good deeds) are multiplied, sayi’ât (bad deeds) are forgiven, people’s status is raised, the hearts of the believers turn to their Master, those who purify themselves attain success and those who corrupt themselves fail. One of the greatest acts of worship is fasting.

Do we really love Allâh? Do our actions really convey what we profess with our tongues? How do we fair in comparison with our pious forefathers?

Increasing the Imân which Allâh commands us to have, and which is a trait of His believing worshipers, can be achieved through different means.

Faith without knowledge is dangerous. It opens the door for misguidance and straying from the dîn of Allâh . So what is a Muslim to do?
